Leading our EICA team is Jack Graham BSc, MSc, CEng MIET, MInstMC

Jack has 30+ years experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation design on water and wastewater treatment works. He is able to provide EICA design solutions on a wide variety of process plant.

Southern Water – Project Manager – Telemetry at CSO Sites – Plant Data System

SAU UK (South East Water) – Senior Project Manager – Telemetry System – Sand Filter Refurbishment – Distribution Network Operations Study for Mid Southern Water

Principal EICA Engineer  servicing Wessex Water, Thames Water, Southern Water, Scottish Water and United Utilities (Water and Waste Water Projects)

Extensive ICA and LV experience and some HV experience.

Mechanical – Guy Mayo

Leading the Mechanical projects and project managing some of our schemes is Guy Mayo BEng, CEng, MIMechE, APM

With 10 years experience designing Mechanical systems in Wastewater and oil and gas, Guy has lead successful projects throughout his career as a professional Engineer.

Key Experience:

Lead Mechanical Engineer on design of wastewater treatment process plant including screening installations, primary treatment distribution and sludge removal, inlet and interstage pump station design, de-sludge pumping, blowers and compressors for de-sludging and aeration, pasteurisation, thermal hydrolysis, bio-gas, lifting equipment. Sites include Hailsham, Mogden, Chiddingfold, Oxford and East Meon.

Mechanical Project Engineer for various oil and gas projects including installation of pneumatic lifting equipment, cryogenic pipeline and valve design, large steam rising plant and gas mixing systems

Notable projects include his lead Engineer role on an 8MW heating system at Mogden Treatment works and leading the design and installation of upgrades on a large LNG site.

Civils – Kulam Kulathungam

Kulam leads our civils team with an impressive 30+ years experiance designing the civils elements of a huge range of water and wastewater projects, he is a chartered Engineer and full member of the Institution of Civil Engineers

Specialising in outline and detailed design Kulam has also lead teams developing technical standards for major UK water PLC such as Southern water and Thames Water

Sewerage design including long lengths of trunk sewers, pumping stations, storm overflows, river crossings, tunneling and other works

Key skills include:

Preliminary assessments, preparing layouts, planning applications

Detailed design – All aspects of civil design for major treatment works including Northfleet, Crossness, Longreach and Beddington.

Process – Fola Damola

Our lead Process Engineer is Fola Damola MEng, CEng, MIChemE

A Chartered Chemical Engineer, she has spent ten years designing and commissioning wastewater treatment processes including filter systems, activated sludge plants, BNR, tertiary treatment and sludge treatment processes.

She has project managed major process Engineering based projects and has experience tendering for a wide range of schemes working for most UK water plc.

Fola has designed the process on a number of sites including Chiddingfold, Woodchurch and Whitewall Creek she has commissioned small rural and large metropolitan treatment works.


DG2 is supported by a network of professional Engineers including Dan Wardrope a Mechanical Engineer with a decade of experience working on wastewater treatment projects in the UK; Ife Thompson a chartered Electrical Engineer with broad experience of site power distribution; Jo Marriot-Smith a highly experienced Process Engineer with 25 years experience across all wastewater treatment processes.
